Validate the Sub-grid record count in AdxStudio Portal / Dynamics Portal; How to hide the control and its description in Dynamics Portal / Adx Studio?? How to recover the Dynamics 365/CRM form which is crashed while doing the layout changes? AdxStudio / Dynamics Portal:: Permissions required to configure SubGrid in WebForm Steps.
I'm having issues trying to log in to a CRM Online organization through the use of the latest version of the Xrm Tooling nuget package using the connection string constructor from a custom powershell cmdlet.
I'm receiving a rather unhelpful 'Unable to Login to Dynamics CRM' error message and am attempting to enable tracing to troubleshoot but have not been able to enable it by modifying the .dll.config file like the below (taken from an XrmToolbox issue on GitHub):
GotDibbsGotDibbsI was able to work around this by configuring the listener programmatically through:
Which pointed me to the actual error which was that the CrmServiceClient was expecting a URL with the organization unique name instead of the URL name.
GotDibbsGotDibbsHas anyone been able to troubleshoot this more? Seems like it is CRM 2016 on premise deployments with the issue. I have a hosted deployment - IFD and have tried both connections and none seems to work. I get exactly the same issues as discussed above.
Connection string: AuthType=IFD; Url=https://myorg.myserver.com/uniqueorgname; Username=myusername; Password=mypassword
This keeps giving me 'Unable to Login to Dynamics CRM'
From the log: it refers to a Value cannot be null - which value I can't see what I might be missing? Can you see anything here?

By the way:
When I connect with XrmToolBox v1.2015.11.5, I get a different error: 'There is an error in XML document (1,1321).
This version also pulls the org automatically so the initial connection set up seems to work but it does not connect.
Connecting to XRMToolbox using one of my existing orgs that's been set up and used successfully with the older versions, works perfectly in the new version. It must be a CRM 2016 on premise issue. (I think?)
I really hope someone can help shed a little more light. I am stuck and unfortunately so dependent on this amazing tool!
